A Good Advice, Take Away

This is a reblog and indeed a good stuff. However, I do not feel so good about reading the idea of divorce here. The reader could just focus on seeing the entire picture of what he should have done to AVOID having a divorce.

***Beautiful advice from a divorced man after 16 years of marriage
My advice after a divorce following 16 years of marriage, by Gerald Rogers.

Obviously, I’m not a relationship expert. But there’s something about my divorce being finalized this week that gives me perspective of things I wish I would have done different… After losing a woman that I loved, and a marriage of almost 16 years, here’s the advice I wish I would have had

1. Never stop courting. Never stop dating. NEVER EVER take that woman for granted. When you asked her to marry you, you promised to be that man that would OWN HER HEART and to fiercely protect it. This is the most important and sacred treasure you will ever be entrusted with. SHE CHOSE YOU. Never forget that, and NEVER GET LAZY in your love.

2. Protect your own heart. Just as you committed to being the protector of her heart, you must guard your own with the same vigilance. Love yourself fully, love the world openly, but there is a special place in your heart where no one must enter except for your wife. Keep that space always ready to receive her and invite her in, and refuse to let anyone or anything else enter there.

3. Fall in love over and over again.  You will constantly change. You’re not the same people you were when you got married, and in five years you will not be the same person you are today. Change will come, and in that you have to re-choose each other everyday. SHE DOESN’T HAVE TO STAY WITH YOU, and if you don’t take care of her heart, she may give that heart to someone else or seal you out completely, and you may never be able to get it back. Always fight to win her love just as you did when you were courting her.

4. Always see the best in her. Focus only on what you love. What you focus on will expand. If you focus on what bugs you, all you will see is reasons to be bugged. If you focus on what you love, you can’t help but be consumed by love. Focus to the point where you can no longer see anything but love, and you know without a doubt that you are the luckiest man on earth to be have this woman as your wife.

5. It’s not your job to change or fix her… your job is to love her as she is with no expectation of her ever changing. And if she changes, love what she becomes, whether it’s what you wanted or not.

6. Take full accountability for your own emotions: It’s not your wife’s job to make you happy, and she CAN’T make you sad. You are responsible for finding your own happiness, and through that your joy will spill over into your relationship and your love.

7. Never blame your wife if you get frustrated or angry at her, it is only because it is triggering something inside of YOU. They are YOUR emotions, and your responsibility. When you feel those feelings take time to get present and to look within and understand what it is inside of YOU that is asking to be healed. You were attracted to this woman because she was the person best suited to trigger all of your childhood wounds in the most painful way so that you could heal them… when you heal yourself, you will no longer be triggered by her, and you will wonder why you ever were.

8. Allow your woman to just be. When she’s sad or upset, it’s not your job to fix it, it’s your job to HOLD HER and let her know it’s ok. Let her know that you hear her, and that she’s important and that you are that pillar on which she can always lean. The feminine spirit is about change and emotion and like a storm her emotions will roll in and out, and as you remain strong and unjudging she will trust you and open her soul to you… DON’T RUN-AWAY WHEN SHE’S UPSET. Stand present and strong and let her know you aren’t going anywhere. Listen to what she is really saying behind the words and emotion.

9. Be silly… don’t take yourself so damn seriously. Laugh. And make her laugh. Laughter makes everything else easier.

10. Fill her soul everyday… learn her love languages and the specific ways that she feels important and validated and CHERISHED. Ask her to create a list of 10 THINGS that make her feel loved and memorize those things and make it a priority everyday to make her feel like a queen.

11. Be present. Give her not only your time, but your focus, your attention and your soul. Do whatever it takes to clear your head so that when you are with her you are fully WITH HER. Treat her as you would your most valuable client. She is.

12. Be willing to take her sexually, to carry her away in the power of your masculine presence, to consume her and devour her with your strength, and to penetrate her to the deepest levels of her soul. Let her melt into her feminine softness as she knows she can trust you fully.

13. Don’t be an idiot…. And don’t be afraid of being one either. You will make mistakes and so will she. Try not to make too big of mistakes, and learn from the ones you do make. You’re not supposed to be perfect, just try to not be too stupid.

14. Give her space… The woman is so good at giving and giving, and sometimes she will need to be reminded to take time to nurture herself. Sometimes she will need to fly from your branches to go and find what feeds her soul, and if you give her that space she will come back with new songs to sing…. (okay, getting a little too poetic here, but you get the point. Tell her to take time for herself, ESPECIALLY after you have kids. She needs that space to renew and get re-centered, and to find herself after she gets lost in serving you, the kids and the world.)

15. Be vulnerable… you don’t have to have it all together. Be willing to share your fears and feelings, and quick to acknowledge your mistakes.

16. Be fully transparent. If you want to have trust you must be willing to share EVERYTHING… Especially those things you don’t want to share. It takes courage to fully love, to fully open your heart and let her in when you don’t know i she will like what she finds… Part of that courage is allowing her to love you completely, your darkness as well as your light. DROP THE MASK… If you feel like you need to wear a mask around her, and show up perfect all the time, you will never experience the full dimension of what love can be.

17. Never stop growing together… The stagnant pond breeds malaria, the flowing stream is always fresh and cool. Atrophy is the natural process when you stop working a muscle, just as it is if you stop working on your relationship. Find common goals, dreams and visions to work towards.

18. Don’t worry about money. Money is a game, find ways to work together as a team to win it. It never helps when teammates fight. Figure out ways to leverage both persons strength to win.

19. Forgive immediately and focus on the future rather than carrying weight from the past. Don’t let your history hold you hostage. Holding onto past mistakes that either you or she makes, is like a heavy anchor to your marriage and will hold you back. FORGIVENESS IS FREEDOM. Cut the anchor loose and always choose love.

20. Always choose love. ALWAYS CHOOSE LOVE. In the end, this is the only advice you need. If this is the guiding principle through which all your choices is governed, there is nothing that will threaten the happiness of your marriage. Love will always endure.

In the end marriage isn’t about happily ever after. It’s about work. And a commitment to grow together and a willingness to continually invest in creating something that can endure eternity. Through that work, the happiness will come. Marriage is life, and it will bring ups and downs. Embracing all of the cycles and learning to learn from and love each experience will bring the strength and perspective to keep building, one brick at a time.

These are lessons I learned the hard way. These are lessons I learned too late. But these are lessons I am learning and committed in carrying forward. Truth is, I loved being married, and in time, I will get married again, and when I do, I will build it with a foundation that will endure any storm and any amount of time.

If you are reading this and find wisdom in my pain, share it those those young husbands whose hearts are still full of hope, and with those couples you may know who may have forgotten how to love. One of those men may be like I was, and in these hard earned lessons perhaps something will awaken in him and he will learn to be the man his lady has been waiting for.

MEN- THIS IS YOUR CHARGE: Commit to being an EPIC LOVER. There is no greater challenge, and no greater prize. Your woman deserves that from. Be the type of husband your wife can’t help but brag about.

Red rainfall alert is increasing ;( Help us LORD JESUS.

DEAR LORD, I am grateful that You do not judge me the way people do. Thank You that You look on my heart to see my thoughts, attitudes, and love for You, and not how successful or attractive I am. Show me anything in my heart that should not be there, and I will confess it before You. Remove all selfish and sinful desires and fill my heart with Your love, peace, and joy. Give me a heart that pleases You.

But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The Lord does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.” (1 Samuel 16:7 NIV)

Work For GOD

난 네가 열심히 노력해야 성공할 수 있다고 생각해요.

This I pray in JESUS' Holy Name. Amen!

Indeed GOD has a purpose and a reason for everything that's happening in every aspect of one's life. Whatever it is, truly is beyond one's knowledge. I am really grateful that I had a great opporturnity to enhance my skills and I gained more learning from my recent work experiences. I am happy to pass on these knowledge gained. I know that there is always a room for improvement and it is my desire to excel more in this chosen career.

It's Mathematics!!

She wanted to become a someone someday. Someone who would be of huge help in any aspect of her life. Because of this, she has to study and she has to cultivate her mathematical skills under the K-12 educational system. Their lecture ladder curriculum is similar to the link down below.

I pray that she will be able to find it easy, fun and enjoyable to work with numbers. It hurts my heart now that she wanted to spend more time with me but we only have 3:30PM to 8:00PM to review for her exams and have some quality time together at home. Now that she is already a grown-up, I am having a difficult time letting her understand the situation about my work shift schedule, which I think happened because she is more aware of the value of being with her love one than anything else in the world. I pray that she will understand me and our situation more.

Thank you LORD JESUS for helping her in school! ^___^

Mayest Walk..

Is a concept of consistency of actions, values, methods, measures, principles, expectations, and outcomes. In ethics, it is regarded as the honesty and truthfulness or accuracy of one's actions. It can be regarded as the opposite of hypocrisy in that it regards internal consistency as a virtue, and suggests that parties holding apparently conflicting values should account for the discrepancy or alter their beliefs.

My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth. (1 John 3:18 KJV)

That thou mayest walk in the way of good men, and keep the paths of the righteous. For the upright shall dwell in the land, and the perfect shall remain in it. But the wicked shall be cut off from the earth, and the transgressors shall be rooted out of it. (Proverbs 2:20-22 KJV)

Mountain Biking Someday

Just an ordinary person dreaming of doing ordinary adventures like mountain biking on one of the mountains/forest or in a sports activity-spots anywhere in the world. I have tried to search for an adventure and fought my fear to dive the eagerness but I was unfortunate to find one.

I thought of doing it at the place where I have been but I had no one to do the adventure with someone; thus, I was quite a loser at it. Outdoor activities are what I like to do too but it is just a matter of having buddies to go with which is preventing me to savor the unforgettable moments. Hope I could enjoy doing what I'd like to experience and they will become possibilities someday. ^^ Thank you Jesus :)

A Little Feet Pamper For Her

Her, I and my mother visited our cousin's house in the province where we used to grow up and have a yearly summer vacation in school. We are now all grown-ups and had build our own family. We are all blessed with precious and wonderful kids of our own. It was such a happy feeling to see your relatives doing great again under GOD's protection.

She was so delighted by the fact that once we get home, I would do what I did to her cute little long feet a few months back. While traveling back home from our visit with grandma, she keeps mumbling that she would get the priceless pamper and the coolest of home service massage on a hot water of her feet. She is young but her curiosity to experience fun good stuff is always alive in her mind. I, as her mother is definitely here to attend to those requests with a joyful heart.

Then we arrived home past 8 o'clock at night, we rested a bit, took our dinner, washed the dishes and began our foot spa hot bath session. It is purely home-made. Not really close to the cosmetics procedure of doing it but it was just a hot water with salt. She wanted her tired little long feet to get relaxed by a press in a hot water. She undeniably enjoyed it a lot and was very happy having it. I could not express the happiness I felt when you see your lovely one wearing such great smiles as she savored this time with her dearest one.

I am so happy to be blessed with her. She is my treasure and I could never thank the Lord Jesus Christ enough for bringing and giving such a sweet precious little girl to me. She is so caring and very mature in her thinking. She understands every situation and her active mind can cultivate only the purest thoughts. I have no other prayer than for her to enjoy and achieve her dreams in life as well. I would like to raise her the same way I was raised by my mother. I pray that she will always carry a pure loving heart and with tons of things all for the benefit of others around her but should not forget to love herself and most especially to carry a fearful heart for GOD.

Movies On The Plane

The day has come that I headed back home to my country to see my family once again after being away for almost seven months. Indeed, I had such awesome months at the place where I have been. The experiences and learning are totally to cherish for. I've met really awesome jolly people and got to know some well too.

On my travel back home, I was once again blessed with a privilege to take a cabin where passengers could relax and immensely enjoy the long-haul flight. Watching customized not so recently released movies is one of those leisures I abused. I will admit I don't really watch movies on any source it could be done but since it was a 16-hour flight, I decided to peek two from the perks of selections the plane has. Two of them were "The Guilt Trip" (2012) and " The Odd Life of Timothy Green".

The Guilt Trip is a 2012 movie-to- watch starring Barbara Streisand and Seth Rogen. Wikipedia plot this comedy movie as follows:
Andy Brewster (Seth Rogen) is an inventor attempting to get his organic cleaning product, ScioClean, in a major retail store. However, each retail store he visits dismisses him before he can end his pitch. After a disappointing sales pitch to K-Mart, he visits his mother, Joyce Brewster (Barbra Streisand), in New Jersey before leaving on a cross-country trip to Las Vegas, lying to her that his pitch ended well so she won't worry about him. While there she reveals to him that he was named after a boy she fell in love with in Florida named Andrew Margolis, who she hoped would object to her marriage with Andy's father. However, he never did and she felt that she never mattered to him afterwards. After a little research, he finds Andrew Margolis is still alive and unmarried living in San Francisco. He invites his unknowing mother on the trip, claiming he wants to spend some time with her.

The road trip quickly becomes hard for Andy as his mother continues to intervene in his life. After their car breaks down Tennessee Joyce calls Andy's ex-girlfriend Jessica (Yvonne Strahovski) (who Joyce insists Andy should get back together with) to pick them up. At a pregnant and married Jessica's house she reveals that Andy proposed to her before college and she turned him down, shocking Joyce, who believed Andy had trouble proposing to women. Andy is glum afterward and Joyce apologizes for calling Jessica, which Andy half-heartedly accepts. In Texas Andy has a meeting with Costco executive Ryan McFeer (Brandon Keener) however Joyce stays at the meeting and criticizes the products bottling and name along with Ryan to the point that Andy snaps at him, saying "I'm not changing the goddamn bottle Ryan!" At the motel that night a depressed Andy begins drinking and Joyce attempts to make up with him however Andy snaps at her, only to have Joyce snap back and leave for a nearby bar. Later Andy attempts to retrieve his mother but gets in a fight with a bar patron who attempts to stop her from leaving, receiving a black eye in the process. At a steak restaurant the next day the two exchange apologies and Andy reveals that he is failing at selling ScioClean. Joyce enters a steak eating challenge where she is noticed by cowboy-styled businessman Ben Graw (Brett Cullen), who gives her tips on eating and helps her finish the challenge. Afterwards he reveals he does a lot of business in New Jersey and asks her to dinner. Joyce, who has never been in a relationship after Andy's dad died when he was eight, balks at the offer so Ben merely leaves his number and asks her to call if she reconsiders. Andy and Joyce begin to genuinely enjoy each other's company after, taking time out of their trip to visit the Grand Canyon (which Joyce has always wanted to visit) and having many other adventures.

At Las Vegas Joyce has such a good time that she asks Andy to leave her while he visits San Francisco, forcing him to reveal that there is no sales pitch in San Francisco and he only invited her to get her to meet Andrew Margolis. Joyce is very distraught as she believed Andy invited her because he actually wanted to spend time with her. He goes to make his pitch at the Home Shopping Network but finds that his science-fact based pitch bores the network's executives and makes them uninterested. He then sees Joyce in the filming crew and takes her advice by appealing to the Network's host family safety and drinking his own product, proving that it is organic and safe for children. Afterwards the Network CEO approaches him and shows genuine interest in selling ScioClean on the Network. After a jubilant Andy and Joyce decide to visit Andrew Margolis's house. However when they arrive they are informed by Andrew's son, Andrew Margolis Jr. (Adam Scott) (whom Andy mistakenly researched instead of the father) that his father died five years ago. After seeing Joyce's grief he invites them inside, where he learns that his father and Joyce were close. She asks if Andrew's father ever mentioned her, but he says he never did as he only confided personal information to their mother, who is away. However he then introduces his sister (Ari Graynor), who is named Joyce after Andy's mom. Joyce is overjoyed by this as she had previously stated her belief that you name your children after someone you cherished and want to remember. This shatters her belief that she didn't matter to Andrew and makes her overjoyed. Afterwards they part ways at the LAX Airport; Andy to make his next sales pitch and Joyce back to New Jersey, where she arranges a date with Ben Graw. The two leave content and much closer than they had been.

As for me, this is highly recommended as this movie I believe is totally wholesome and hilarious.

Thank you Jesus!!
