Walt Disneyworld Tour May 2012, FL

I consider myself a blessed one not with material things but with so many good memories I'll treasure in my life. I have been to places I have never gone before and I have tasted a never-before-experienced comings and goings.

It was May 5, 2012 when I visited Disneyworld EPCOT Thempark located in Orlando, Florida. It was a more than two hours of driving from where I live. I have no GPS, and this was a first time experience. I was so excited that day because this plan got postponed four times since I was always busy during weekends. Since I will be leaving this place soon, I decided to visit the place. Disneyworld has four major themeparks. When I was almost near the themepark vicinity, I forgot to change to an Interstate 4 outer lane, so I passed by the exit 62. I initially intended to exit to Disneyworld Magic Kingdom thempark. I drove straight ahead instead and searched for another exit. All thanks to Jesus because I found a good spot to go. I entered a different exit which blessedly brought me to the nicest themepark among the four. For Park Guests choosing to drive, convenient self-parking is also available that cost $14. I drove and entered the EPCOT themepark. The Epcot theme park, is one of 4 Theme Parks at Walt Disney World Resort, which sprawls across 300 acres and is twice the size of Magic Kingdom theme park. It is divided into Future World and World Showcase.

Future World

Future World is full of sensational attractions—including one of the fastest attractions in all Disney Parks—as well as inspiring entertainment and shows, all of which focus on technological advancements, innovation and wonder. In Future World, ideas become reality.

The Epcot theme park icon, Spaceship Earth, looking like a giant golf ball rising high above the horizon, welcomes you as you walk through the Park's main entrance.

World Showcase

Beyond Future World, if entering from the main gate at Epcot theme park, is the World Showcase area. World Showcase is a collective of Pavilions that wrap around the World Showcase Lagoon. Inside the Pavilions, find shops, attractions and restaurants that represent the culture and cuisine of these 11 countries:

  • Mexico
  • Norway
  • China
  • Germany
  • Italy
  • United States
  • Japan
  • Morocco
  • France
  • United Kingdom
  • Canada
While walking between Pavilions, be amused by live performers—some may even invite you to participate in the show! There's also plenty of kid-centric entertainment, too, like Disney Character meet and greet locations and Kidcot fun stops. At Kidcot stations, kids can create one-of-a-kind souvenirs.

In Epcot theme park, creativity is encouraged, imagination is celebrated and countries are united. Be amazed, inspired, enlightened and entertained!

Before going to the parking place, I grabbed some pictures as a remembrance because EPCOT can only be found in Florida, USA. Also, this is a once-in-a-lifetime event I must not disregard.

I found a good place to park the car and headed on to ride a shuttle to the entrance of the themepark. People were all excited and now I’ve known that Americans are fond of going to this of places too. I spotted some Asians, Mexicans, and other nationalities with just a look on their skin color and faces. Hehe..

I paid a quite costly ticket for $178, which is a two themepark tickets that can be used within two weeks. This also mean I can go back to visit another Disneyworld themepark. I am thinking of going to Disneyworld Magic Kingdom and make sure I will drive and exit to the right road next time. Driving is fun but quite scary I must say. I have never driven to distant places here in Florida farther than Orlando. This is so awe-inspiring experience for me too.

EPCOT has many places to go. I first went in a so-called Spaceship Earth, which has like an earth-ride to see the universe. That big crystal ball is so huge, which contains something like a roller-coaster ride to see how the earth evolved way back the old centuries. It was fun I can say, evidently younger ones will certainly enjoy this tour.

Next spot was the Beyond Future World. I walked to each section witnessing the historic cultures of Japan, China, Canada, France, Morocco, and Mexico. Each station exhibits the representing countries’ culture and some stuff made from their country are sold. I bought some snacks in a Japan kiosk.

After these I entered Universe of Energy where Ellen DeGeneres was like a main lead in story-like scenes inside. She discussed more about different energy resources on earth, how we get them, utilizes the resources, that these power resources get consumed and run out. There was a very mind-boggling question in a Jeopardy gameshow, which is something like “What is one power resource that won’t run out?”. The answer was brain power. I enjoyed science a lot in my school days and I really enjoyed this pavilion tour. It was indeed a very remarkable experience. It was just so sad though because taking pictures is strictly prohibited inside.

Universe of Energy, a dramatic mirrored pyramid pavilion for Guests of all ages in the Future World area of Epcot theme park, is dedicated to energy—the production, conservation and history of its sources.

Universe of Energy explores alternative energy sources inside—and outside—the pavilion. Solar panels that blanket the roof partially power the ride vehicles for the multimedia attraction contained inside: Ellen's Energy Adventure

It was almost 5:00 pm and I planned of getting home before 8 so I headed on to my last stop which was the Space Mission. Mission: SPACE, a motion simulator ride at Epcot theme park, is as close as you can get to blasting off into space without leaving Earth. This attraction for big kids, teens and adults realistically mimics what an astronaut might experience during a space flight to Mars.

Each member of your astronaut team has a challenging role in a dynamic and daring cosmic mission dodging meteors and navigating nebulae. Mission: SPACE is available in 2 versions—select the Orange Team for exhilarating and intense training or opt for the Green Team and have a less intense galactic adventure.

Pre-Show for Mission: SPACE

You are invited to train for the very first mission to Mars aboard the X-2 Deep Space Shuttle at the International Space Training Center (ISTC) on the 75th anniversary of man's first mission into space. Make your way to the Recruiting Center where you will choose a team—comprised of 4 members—for training.

Each team member will be given an on-board position with unique assignments to perform during the mission. The positions include Navigator, Pilot, Commander and Engineer. Before beginning the training exercise, trainees will watch an introductory video about the mission starring actor Gary Sinise.

The Journey to Mars

After the mission briefing, make your way inside the space capsule—sitting side by side with the other members of your team. Feel the rush of take-off as you embark on a thrill-packed training adventure through space to Mars.

During the simulation, rocket around the moon, experience a brief period of simulated hypersleep, and land on the reddened surface of Mars, before blasting back to Earth.

Select the Orange Team or the Green Team

Mission: SPACE utilizes a multiple-arm centrifuge that spins and tilts to simulate the illusion of speed and gravitational forces. Realistic sounds from overhead and vivid video images only add to the experience of the simulation.

As an astronaut in training, you are given the choice to be a part of the Orange Team or the Green Team.

The Orange Team is a more intense training session and is the original version of the attraction, where you will experience forces up to 2.4G—more than twice the force of the Earth's gravitational pull.

The Green Team has a less intense experience. You do not feel forces up to 2.4G when choosing this option. If you are prone to motion sickness, you should opt for the Green Team.

It was probably the most wonderful thing that has ever happened to me. I hope to bring my precious one here someday together with the man I love. ^^

More About The Rapture And Tribulation Period

If you read in Revelations in the Bible you will see the sign of the end of times is around us as its portrayed. I am not saying its definitely going to happen any day now and I am not predicting when its going to happen. It may not happen for a 1000 years. Maybe these just seem like they are the end of times but maybe the signs will go away and things will get better and the end of times is much later.

But the end of times could be upon us. My pastor was preaching on this a week or so ago. Things that are going on in Israel could lead to certain things that could bring on the Rapture and the Tribulation period.

What Does It All Have To Do With Me?

I don't understand what this all means. You keep saying, Rapture & Tribulation Period, what is all this?

The Rapture is where Jesus will come back for those who believe in Him. Those who have died knowing Him and those who are currently alive when He comes.

The Tribulation period is where the Earth is going through a seven year period of time of the most devastating peiod of time it has ever seen. Earthquakes are so big that they will flatten the moutains. All water including the oceans, lakes, rivers, etc. No matter where they are will first turn red from all the animals diying, then they will dry up. Every drop of water will be gone. Then the sun is going to burn way hotter then it ever has. The tempitures could reach 140, 150, even 160 degrees

These are only some of the things Earth will see. By the end when everyone has died, God will bring down His people in Heaven and we will leave here on Earth again. But it will be different this time.

We will no longer have diseases, hunger, and many other things. The Earth will be much more wonderful place.

I hope you will read Revelations in the Bible so you can learn more about this awful time. Reading Revelations only takes a couple of hours and you will have an understanding of what will happen. If you don't understand find a preacher and ask them. I am sure they will tell you everything you need to know.

If you don't have a Bible then just go to Biblegateway.com to read any part of the Bible or even listen to it. This is a free Bible resource.

Do You Want To Escape The Tribulation Period?

All you have to do is accept Christ into your heart And you too can escape the tribulation period. Jesus does not want us to live through all the terrible things that are going to happened during the tribulation period. So He is going to gather all his people up and take them to Heaven.

All it takes is what prayer. One confession that you are a sinner and Christ is the son of God and you will fellow Him. He will come into your life, wash away your sins and help you live a much better life and you get to escape the tribulation period.
